Call a Medic

Call a Medic

Many women and children would die. Tuberculosis was everywhere. There was no healthcare in the slum. After receiving training and new skills on healthcare, I became a Community Health Volunteer (CHV) and would monitor health issues like TB, HIV/AIDs. The child mortality and number of deaths have reduced significantly. I am available 24 hours a day and look after 300 households. My medical kit goes with me everywhere. Shakuntala, Delhi, India.
