How does the Gift for Life gift catalogue work?

When you order an item from this catalogue, we allocate your donation to the appropriate project, allowing that specific item to be purchased. Each gift has been carefully selected to meet an essential need in the communities we work amongst, and is part of our wider development work.

What you receive

For every item you buy, TEAR Fund will send you a traditional printed gift card or give you the option of sending an e-card (electronic card) as a token of your gift to pass on to friends or your family. Each card includes an image and description of your purchase, along with a space for you to record the name of the person you are giving the item to. The amount spent is not shown on the card.

TEAR Fund New Zealand will also send you a tax-deductible receipt.

In the event of a particular item being oversubscribed, please allow TEAR Fund the discretion of redirecting your donation to other activities of the same project, or to an equally worthwhile project. TEAR Fund will still send you the card for the gift you purchased.
